About Us
Who We Are
A Family Legacy of Ministry.
A place of worship, healing, and community in Queens Village.
New Greater Bethel Ministries has served Queens Village, NY since 1972. The church was founded by the late Apostle John H. Boyd Sr. and is now led by his son, Pastor John H. Boyd II, alongside Evangelist Valerie Boyd.
Worship at NGBM has always been paired with tangible service to the community: a food pantry, a 'Set Free' prison ministry, a clothing drive, community health fairs, and Christian education through Bethel Bible Institute and Bethel Christian Learning Center and Academy.

Our Legacy
More Than Five Decades of Faith.
New Greater Bethel Ministries was founded by the late Apostle John H. Boyd Sr. and continues today under his son, Pastor John H. Boyd II, and Evangelist Valerie Boyd, a family legacy of ministry serving Queens Village for more than fifty years.
The ministry began in 1972 with a single Gospel Tent, then moved to a building at 221st Street and Linden Boulevard in Cambria Heights. On Easter Sunday 1975, the congregation acquired the former Cambria Heights theater complex, the building that became New Greater Bethel Ministries.
